Picture Post, Sunday, July 16, 2006

Today's photos, well, there's not much to say. No interesting stories or anything like that. Just some of the photographs I've taken over the past couple of weeks with the new Nikon. This is just stuff that catches my eye, which is an intuitive process and not a verbal one anyway.

I'll let the photos speak for themselves. Give 'em a click.

Gotta get really good up close and personal Keith Urban pics at the next concert I hope to be going to with your big sis. Actually I do color pencil drawings and need a good camera to take pics of my subjects......ok...yes and to get some really good up close and personl photos of Keith Urban!!! LOL

I am loving this blog! Big sis Marsha told me to go have a peek at it and now I am hooked..read it daily. I love your photos , not only are they very well done , but they always appeal to something in me. I too am a Keith Urbanette like big sis and Pattie and now have become a JAMmer as well! Thanks for the daily smiles your blog brings to me!

Ladies, thank you both for your kind comments. It's a wierd feeling knowing that people really read this and look at the photos. I still can't get over the double feeling I get from blogging. Part of me wants to speak out yet the stronger part of me could never believe that anyone cares. Thanks again.

Pattie, as far as camera choices, there are too many to talk about in a comment here. From my blog page, you can choose to view my profile. From there you can email me. Tell me what you're looking for in a camera. For example, I've used 35mm film cameras for a lot of years, and I really missed the interchangable lenses and the whole vibe of that type of camera. So that was ultimately what led me to get a Nikon D70s, but it is more expensive. Do you prefer a 'point and shoot' that is powerful or like me, comfortable with a camera with all the bells and whistles? Let me know and I can try to point you in the right direction. What cameras have you owned and used in the past? Anything like that you can think of will help me help you. -- John

OMG, where these taken at the place you took me to where we saw the yellow lab that day playing in the water? I recognize the yellow building!
