13 Photos Taken With Our Sony Digital Camera

I post lots of photos that were taken with the Nikon D70s that I bought last year, but for several years I used a Sony DSC S-75 along with my 35mm equipment.

You don't have to have a snazzy camera to take nice pictures, and since I'm a lazy slug and couldn't think of a T13 that interested me enough to do, I'm posting 13 shots taken with our Sony point and shoot camera.

1. Sunset over the Indian River Lagoon from Melbourne Beach, Florida.

2. This is Lilly, one of our miniature poodles, when she was a puppy.

3. A street shot in Powder Springs, Georgia, 2002. We lived in Powder Springs from 89 to 92, and walked around downtown when we were in the Atlanta area for a visit a few years ago.

4. Downtown Disney, in Orlando, Florida. Virgin megastore on left, Surk-doo-so-lay in that big tent lookin' thing in the distance, and House of Blues on the right where the water tower is.

5. Another sunset over the Indian River Lagoon.

6. A trail photo on Kennesaw Mountain, northwest of Atlanta.

7. Evening sky over the Atlantic Ocean, taken at Jetty Park in Port Canaveral, Florida.

8. Fountain and downtown Atlanta, taken in Centennial Olympic Park.

9. Nifty lookin' clouds above Downtown Disney in Orlando.

10. A parking garage outside of Underground Atlanta.

11. Beautiful sky over the Atlantic beach at Jetty Park in Port Canaveral, Florida.

12. Rowers on the Chattahoochee River in Atlanta, Georgia.

13. Yes. Another sunset over the Indian River Lagoon.

Damn nice pictures... so what 35MM camera do you use? I have a Minolta Maxxum 5, but I don't use it very often...digi is so much easier and faster and cheaper...

My TT is up too

msbatman, I've used all kinds of 35mm, mostly Canon AE-1, and Canon A-1. I also have had a Canon EOS Elan IIe autofocus 35mm, and Nikon N90s and N80 autofocus 35mm. I just always ended up going back to my manual focus stuff and sold the others.

The Sony is a nice camera, but like many other point and shoot cameras, digital or film, it's TOO SLOW. I love my D70s, if for no other reason than being able to get the shot when I push the button.

I still use the 35mm cameras from time to time, but the instant impact of digital, and that Photoshop Elements lets me have what is essentially a color darkroom on my computer, it's just plain hard to beat.

lady g, thank you. I love Atlanta, and that's a niftly building.

Downtown Disney is one of my favorite areas. I buy a big cigar and about 6 cuban coffees and enjoy
the sights.

Great pics as always!

Beautiful pictures, as usual.

Makes me want to really visit the south. We drove the interstate through that way on a trip to NC many years ago. It was all trees and we really didn't get much scenery at all.

Wow! Breathtaking pictures!!! And I have to agree that you don't really have to have high-tech cameras to bring out the best pictures. You've just proven that :)

Happy Thursday!

Hey John...in answer to your question on my blog about Cindy Morgan...yes, she recently released an album after several years away from the Christian music "scene." I found this site that has an interview with her:

I've really loved her stuff down through the years.

What a great idea! I take a lot of pictures (not as nice as yours) so I certainly have the material.

Happy TT!

I appreciate your visit and your similar theme as you checked out game night in Atlanta from yesterday. Amy and I have not been to Kennesaw Mountain yet, because each opportunity brought poor weather, but we will get there soon.

I like the way you spell comments! :-) I left a comment on your other blog, and came here to find you TT! Great photos! It seems we're on the same page this TT, eh? I don't know if you noticed, but another one of my blogs is Wailea Daily Photo, and I'm inviting you to join the group that posts a photo a day from their hometown or area. It's a great online group, and I love to visit the photos because they're Real! Check out my blog and group...you may want to do another blog! :-)
